The diversity or applications of the exploited limestone, both as a construction material and as one of the fundamental components for the manufacture of cement, concrete, mortar, asphalts, fertilisers, etc., together with the particular characteristics of the deposit, has resulted in the wide range of uses of the mineral resource extracted.
